PROFFORMANCE 2026 – The Results Live On
The conclusion of the PROFFORMANCE+ project in December 2025 did not mark the end of the professional work.
In 2026, the tools, knowledge and professional connections created through the project continued to live on: new professional learning opportunities, institutional collaborations and international engagements were built on the results of PROFFORMANCE.
PROFFORMANCE Community Events
The PROFFORMANCE Community Events launched in 2026 featured the international professional learning programme “Upgrade your course: Make it truly student-centred” (Upgrade your course: Make it truly student-centred).
More than 120 participants took part in the Launch Webinar on 26 March, while 320 participants from more than 10 countries registered for the online programme. More than 120 participants started the course, of whom more than 30 completed the programme and received a certificate.
Participants worked on developing their own courses while sharing their experiences and solutions through expert consultations, thematic forums and practical peer-learning activities. The programme connected the perspectives of digitalisation, internationalisation, inclusion and sustainability with everyday teaching practice. The online phase was complemented by nine expert consultations, and the programme will continue with an onsite professional learning programme in Budapest from 27–29 October.
Further Development of the Institutional Ambassador Network
The International Institutional PROFFORMANCE Ambassadors (IPA Network) continued to operate as an active professional community in 2026. Following the community meeting in March, the Joint Course Design Competence Assessment, was launched, in which participating institutions used the PROFFORMANCE Assessment Tool (PAT) to assess their course design and teaching competencies.
Ambassador Roadshow – PROFFORMANCE Reaches New Professional Communities
In 2026, the PROFFORMANCE Team and its experts presented the project's results and methodologies in five countries – Austria, Hungary, the United States, Georgia and Portugal – at a range of national and international professional forums. The programmes focused, among other topics, on inclusion, assessment, internationalisation, partnership building, sustainability and digitalisation. We report on the Ambassador Roadshow events and professional lessons learned in a separate article.
