Short description	Connecting Policy, Practice and Quality: Tools for Advancing Inclusive Teaching and Learning Presentation and workshop by Szilvia Besze, Senior project coordinator, Tempus Public Foundation The Peer Learning Activity (PLA) “‘We make a change’: Making institutional cultures in higher education more inclusive” took place in Salzburg on 18–19 February 2026 within the INSPIRE project, bringing together higher education stakeholders to exchange practices and explore practical approaches to strengthening inclusive institutional cultures. Szilvia Besze, member of the PROFFORMANCE Impact Team at the Tempus Public Foundation, contributed with a presentation and joint reflection entitled “Connecting Policy, Practice and Quality: Tools for Advancing Inclusive Teaching and Learning”. Her session explored how PROFFORMANCE tools can support the implementation of the Principles and Guidelines for the Social Dimension of Higher Education, translating policy-level goals into practical institutional action. Participants worked together to identify challenges in inclusive teaching and learning, formulate a common SMART objective, develop concrete actions and consider potential risks and mitigation measures.
